Our 2010 vision is to greatly increase electorate turnout in greater Bangalore. In the following years, our vision is to extend the same goal to other metro areas all over India. Our 2020 vision is to achieve the same electorate turnout in all communities, cities and villages throughout India.
How do we plan on accomplishing our goals and vision?
Educating electorate, and keeping them aware, informed, encouraged and empowered is our plan. Our intention is have this website to be the one-stop information/support/motivation center for people that are committed to vote. We want to make it easier, by removing barriers or roadblocks, for people to participate in voting process.
We plan to have information related to what/when/why/where/how of voter registration, polling stations, ballots, elections etc such that any motivated voter would find it easy to vote. We also intend to conduct voting workshops to increase awareness and educate people on voting procedures and process. We may greatly expand the content and activities as deemed necessary and appropriate.
